The Masters 2017 dates, schedule

The 2017 Masters schedule starts with Round 1 on Masters Golf 2017 Thursday, April 6, and runs through Sunday, April 9. Practice rounds run Monday through Wednesday, with the Par-3 Contest held on Wednesday, April 5.

Is Tiger Woods playing in the Masters?

Nope, sorry. Tiger Woods announced last Friday that he will not be playing in the Masters due to lingering soreness in his back. Woods has not played since withdrawing from the Omega Dubai Desert Classic in February.
The Masters TV schedule

ESPN will air Wednesday’s Par-3 Contest from 3-5 p.m. ET, and Rounds 1 and 2 on Thursday and Friday, respectively, from 3-7:30. There will also be a replay on ESPN from 8-11 those days.

CBS will air Rounds 3 and 4 on Saturday (3-7:30) and Sunday (2-7). CBS Sports Network will also provide live TV coverage of the Masters driving range show, Masters on the Range, Thursday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day.

For live streaming online, Masters.com will offer feeds of practice facilities, Amen Corner, the 15th and 16th holes and several featured groups.

Masters.com will also live stream the CBS broadcast of Rounds 1-2 from 3-7:30 p.m. on Thursday and Friday; Round 3 from 3-7 on Saturday; and Round 4 from 2-7 on Sunday, followed by the Green Jacket Ceremony following the conclusion of the final round.

Times for live coverage on Masters.com are estimated based on when players are expected to make the turn. Coverage may begin earlier or later based on speed of play.

How much is the Masters purse in 2017?

The 2017 Masters purse is set at $10 million, with the winner’s prize money payout set at $1.8 million.
